About The Artist
Artist and Printmaker JANE BRISTOWE has been an exhibitor at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2010 and was short-listed for Wildlife Artist of the Year 2008.
She combines her clear and distinct use of line with a passion for colour to create bold images of animals and people.
Her appealing style has established Bristowe as a leading exponent of animal images in the UK. Her innovative linocuts – display her inventive artistic imagination in capturing the simple appearances and character of a stunning array of animals – and have placed Bristowe among the best of this genre currently working today.
Jane Bristowe’s ‘Meerkats’ linocut was exhibited in the 2010 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and published as a card by Canns Down Press for the Royal Academy.
