Judy was born in Scotland in 1957 and studied at Duncan of Jordonstones College of Art, London

She has since acted as visiting lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art and Glasgow School of Art, and part-time teacher at Meovana School of Art, Barcelona.

As a jeweller and printmaker, she has exhibited widely in Europe, America and Japan.

Her work is represented in the collections of The Crafts Council and the National Museums of Scotland.

Since 1991 Judy has lived in Spain.
